Important Vitamins in fruits
Though it is important to take a multi-vitamin (to get the same vitamins-in-fruits) to be sure you are getting what you need, you can get a lot of these things if you get vitamins from fruits. There are many things that are good for you, and eating fruit is one of the most important things you can include in your diet plan. Many people shy away from this type of food for some reason, and they don’t realize that they may feel better everyday if they just make time to have some. If you can eat enough of the right fruits each day, you might not even need those supplements you have sitting on your shelf.
You don’t have to eat the same things over and over again to get your supply of vitamins in fruits. It is a much better idea to eat a wide variety of them so that you are getting the best benefit. There are some that have a small amount, and some that are full of almost every type of vitamin. If you look through the list you can see which ones are most important, though quite honestly, fruit is always a good idea no matter what it contains. Vitamins in fruits do amazing things for your body, and as long as you have some each day, along with some vegetables, you are going to feel better.
Here are some great fruits to add to your meal plan.
Watermelon: Though this fruit is made up of a lot of water, it has some great benefits. This is one fruit that most children love to eat, so if you are having a hard time getting them to eat any type of fruit, you might want to start with this one. You can find vitamins A, B1, B3, B6, and vitamin C all included.
Tomatoes: Though you might think of this as a vegetable, you should know it is actually a fruit. If you are looking for a great source of vitamins in fruits, this is a very versatile one. Tomatoes are used in a lot of different dishes, and you will find it very easy to include them in meals at least once a day. You will get vitamins A, B3, B9, and C.
Cantaloupe: Though children don’t usually fall in love with this fruit at first, many adults find that they like it when it is included in fruit salad. Fresh cantaloupe is rather easy to find during every season of the year. You will get vitamins A, B3, B9, and C.
Peaches: Though most people like to have this fruit in pies and desserts, it does stand alone as a snack that most people will enjoy. The vitamins in fruits that you will get from a peach are A, B3, and C.
Berries: There are many different berries you can eat, with strawberries and blueberries being two of the most popular. You will get vitamins A, B9, C, and E from eating varies berries when they are in season.
Bananas: These are perhaps the most popular with both children and adults. They stand alone, or can be added to ice cream or cereal. When you eat a banana, you are getting vitamins B3, B5, B6, B9, C, and E. Not bad for a single fruit.
Oranges: Though many like to eat oranges, drinking the juice is even more common. These are very good for you, and it is recommended that you have one of these, or a glass of juice each day. You will get vitamins A, B5, B9, and C.
Other great sources of vitamins in fruits are kiwis, apples, limes, lemons, and grapes. Though it might seem like a complicated issue when you look down the list of vitamins in fruits, you might want to look a little closer. Many of them have the same vitamins, so as long as you eat a few from the list at least twice a day, you are going to get all the benefits you need.
